My love is a candle

Burning long into the night

Bringing you light when you can't sleep.

My love is a giant comforter

Wrapped about you tight

Protecting you from cold, cruel world.

My love is a bowl of chicken soup

It's good for your soul

And it makes you feel better.

My love is a roller coaster,

It keeps you glued to your seat

And it's a thrill a minute. (at least)

Maybe my love is not all that.

But this love is all I have.

You deserve much more I know.

Yet I pray it is enough,
